Description The iconic holy grail bag is the Chanel Classic Flap. Coveted for its simplicity and elegance – woven chain double strap that can be worn short or long, turnlock CC clasp, lambskin interior. This is the single size classic flap, allowing for a spacious center compartment. Two side pockets, one open and one zipped for storing very small valuables or coins. Single flaps are lighter than a double flap and carry more, and are no longer made. In dark red caviar leather and silver hardware. This is a very rare 2009 cruise collection red color. The caviar leather from this year was rigid and had more structure, with a bolder CC clasp width and many believe was of superior quality. Rare to find barely used in this excellent condition for almost a decade. In caviar leather, the classic flap is durable with the pebbled grain nodes of calfskin leather. The jumbo size is 12 inches wide and the most popular size classic flap. The single flap version of the jumbo is spacious and more lightweight than the double flap counterpart. This item is in excellent condition with very few signs of normal use. Corners are clean with no rubbing or scuffing. Hardware is clean and shiny. Interior is clean.
