This is a great high chair. It is easy to clean, and the new model of straps are easy to get on and off. There are only a few crevices were food gets stuck. Overall very easy to clean. Love the plastic tray cover. The adjustable height seat and footstool also work great. The first has held up great over the last 2.5 years. The quality of the materials is spot on. I’ve had no issue with the wood peeling. There is some mild discoloration where I let soapy water sit too long, but that is reasonable – it is an all wood chair and shouldn’t have water pooling on it for hours. My preschooler loves that the chair gets him high enough up to the table to easily reach his plate. The footrest also helps keep some of the wiggles at bay. Note on assembly – it is really important to follow the directions and tighten the bolts loosely to start. Get everything really tight after the chair is upright to make sure it is level. Recommend adding felt pads to the bottom if you have hardwood to avoid scrapes.
