The sound is much better than the previous generation, and by aesthetics and sound alone, this pair is wonderful. However, I’d like to see a firmware update as the software is flaky. This momentum 3 pair had difficulty switching between connected devices and would lose audio. Some native apps will not work with these headphones, such as voice memos on iOS. The noise cancellation will toggle on by itself occasionally without switching it on myself. I’m not a connoisseur of audio equipment, but no matter what I’m listening too there’s no part of the spectrum that bothers me in any way. This refurbished headphone costed around $200, which I feel was a good deal. Batteries last around 12-16 hours. The noise cancellation is pretty poor, but in my experience they are good for blocking out ‘white’ noise like wind, buzzing, stuff like that. I love the look and metal band, sturdy and looks great. The bluetooth connectivity is a bit annoying when they’re paired with multiple devices due to the source switching to the most recent to connect, but that’s not a big deal.
