Description Replacement pawl for the handbrake lever for all LT models up to 1996. Original VW part. These were attached with a special “rivet” which is no longer available, so if you have a worn pawl you’ll need to be creative to replace it. The alternative is a handbrake lever that comes with the pawl attached.
