It weighs around 7 grams of 100% sterling silver (as each one is handmade, the weight varies very slightly from piece to piece), and is suitable for wearing on a chain or leather cord (which can be supplied for a small extra cost). As UK hallmarking law requires all sterling silver to be hallmarked if it weighs more than one-quarter troy ounce, this piece is NOT hallmarked but is stamped “925” to indicate it is sterling silver – but can be sent for assay/hallmarking if you wish for a small fee.
